This Website

I've wanted a personal website for a while, and now that I have some extra time on my hands, I finally pulled the trigger.

This is an experimental project for me: I get to try out various technologies I've read about but never got a chance to work with. The site is primarily a way for me to visually see my own projects, and secondarily something "tangible" to share with others. Pages will get re-designed, components will move around, things might break...just a heads up.

I'm also feeling nostalgic for the websites from the late 90s, back when people made sites to share something with the world, and before websites became ad-laden minefields stuffed with cookies. (This site does use Google Analytics.)

I'm aware that this is not the most accessible website. The UC Tech Conference I attended in 2023 was eye-opening for me. I'd like to take the time to read up on some of the resources provided by the UC Berkeley Digital Accessibility Program and apply what I learn to this website.
